Welcome to Mrs. Busalacchis Web Page!
I am so excited to be working with you, this year! This will be my very first year at Valley View.
I look forward to all of the new opportunities that await.
Fifth grade is such an important year, for we will be reinforcing our basic skills, challenging ourselves to learn new concepts and we will begin to learn how to transition from elementary school to the middle school environment, at North.
Education & Experience:
I graduated from U.W.-Whitewater in 1987, with a Bachelors of Science, in Elementary Education [1-8].
I worked at Mother of Perpetual Help, in Milwaukee, teaching fifth grade for 4 years. Then, I worked in the Germantown School District for 10 years, teaching sixth grade at Kennedy Middle School. I joined the S.D.M.F. Family in 2003, where I taught sixth grade, at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. After that, I spent one year at North Middle School, teaching six sections of U.S. History. Then, in 2009, I was assigned to Ben Franklin Elementary, where I taught fifth grade for 8 years.
*My schedule is pending, but I will update as soon as I know.
I teach fifth grade.
Our classes will include: Reading, Math, Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Spelling [Words Their Way]. In fifth grade, you will also be taking a class in D.A.R.E., and will be trained, in the spring, for our exciting field trip, at J.A.s BizTown.
It is going to be a great year!
